Mangro Place

Mangro’ Place stands as a captivating project, exuding charm and functionality at every turn. This two-storey building boasts a symmetrical design, with the upper floors housing one-bedroom apartments that epitomize modern coastal living.

Each apartment features a north breeze-facing balcony, offering serene views of the lush garden below. The garden itself is a tranquil oasis, complete with an inviting inbuilt pool, a spacious cement deck, and abundant local flora and fauna. Thoughtfully landscaped, the garden provides ample shade and privacy, creating the perfect setting for relaxation and leisure.

Initially conceived as executive rentals, the apartments quickly garnered popularity among vacationers seeking a luxurious retreat. This flexibility was achieved through spacious interiors, characterized by high ceilings adorned with a special hardwood known as luin. Painted ceilings in between the luin rafters add a touch of elegance to the space.
Unique features abound, including barn doors with screen covers, allowing for customizable airflow and comfort. Through-breeze from various openings enhances ventilation, while maintaining a comfortable indoor environment.

The entire design concept was meticulously crafted by Hannah Cowell Designs, from conception to completion. This project exemplifies our commitment to delivering exceptional spaces tailored to our clients’ needs. With a focus on functionality and aesthetics, every detail was carefully considered, from the selection of materials to the layout of each apartment.
Clever features abound throughout the building, with hardwood accents complemented by granite stone finishes and high-quality appliances. Functional space utilization is achieved through innovative solutions such as Murphy beds and built-in closets, maximizing living space without compromising on comfort.

On the lower level, a fantastic studio offers a loft-style living experience, ideal for accommodating two to four guests. Featuring airy, light-filled spaces with 10-foot ceilings, the studio exudes a charming feeling reminiscent of the UK, a nod to Hannah’s origins. The brick walls were painted interior and left natural exterior, creating a unique contrast. The painted interior brick, combined with the high ceilings made from cement, along with beautiful coving work and circular posts, adds a touch of architectural elegance. Despite drawing inspiration from different styles, the blending of these elements is seamless, resulting in a harmonious and inviting atmosphere.

Artwork sourced from Belize and Central America adorns the walls, adding character and personality to each apartment. Mangro’ Place has quickly become a beloved landmark, cherished by residents and guests alike for its exceptional design and unparalleled comfort.

Recently sold to a delighted buyer, this project stands as a testament to the success of Hannah Cowell Designs in creating spaces that not only meet but exceed expectations, providing a truly unforgettable living experience.
